Stoked. Just purchased the VF and cable kit for my stock TRD Off Road. This will be some fun. Hopefully it allows this truck to finally make proper use of this engine.

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
i wouldnt worry, these are the base files. once FM is updated, all the rest of the files will be up and running.

side note- got the reg/stock/thx file flashed. on 265/75/16, i should get a solid test tomorrow am.

Haven’t flash in a while. P5flash utility from flash manager just says ready at bottom. What am I doing wrong?

After flashing, did you turn off, then back to on? (Not accessory, and not running)
You can't do the flash and reset back to back. You have to turn off after flashing.

Installed 04A61 87 31-33 non-geared and non-thx and I’m questioning whether I used to have a tune installed at all. 285/75/16. It’s terrific. Will update once it settles in.

That way we could have separate threads for the different tunes and options. Wouldn't have to sift through everyone's different needs. :notsure:

I like the experimental concept of going up a size just to see if there is some extra oooomph ... thanks for the tip!

Afaik it's shift points. Stock shift points would lug a truck with bigger tires. That's my interpretation anyway.

Well I can speak for a 2019 owner that the tune is definitely final for me. Thanks for everything this is perfect to me. Drove around 100 miles or so after flash and everything is great. Seems to have a slight bit more pep, throttle start to finish is perfect.

Oddly enough I didn’t expect any transmission shifting changes but on certain spots of a road I travel often I noticed it actually held 6th which was very surprising. Also a very noticeable change is how it shifts now on demand without having to continuously press the throttle further until it finally does shift without lunging. Now at normal driving speed in a tall gear I press the pedal as much as I think a truck should need to downshift and it does it. Good tune! Very pleased. Will try to remember to report back in time after some tanks get ran through. Didn’t reset any values by the way.

I have flash manager 1.3.3 click on p5 flash and all the buttons in p5 flash are grayed out (see the system id + my name in the text box) and not able to click on identify/read/flash/etc. I'm able to connect though via 'data logger' and see stuff coming back from the truck. I was successfully able to flash the beta a few months back and nothing has changed on my laptop. I tried purge local data/update multiple times same results. Any ideas? Thanks!
