That's ok darlin'. I'm just bouncing around threads, in & out, catchin' up on what I've missed the last couple hours. Hope you're doing well down there in SC. Heard SC had another spike in Covid-19 cases this week. Please stay safe!

that's what I do, too. I'm doing my best to stay away from others. Hard to do when shopping - too many folks think it's unnecessary to wear a mask or social distance :annoyed: You stay safe up there, too.

    always here...unless I'm camping!
How are the girls? *ear scratches* for them both

same here. about 60/40 at the grocery stores right now...60 without. other stores like target, michaels, etc are maybe 90/10  yet my county had the most new cases in the state over the last few weeks as restrictions have lessened.
dont even get me started on the crowds in Yelly this last weekend...so clueless...

Yep, since places are beginning to open back up and restrictions are lifting, some are thinking it unnecessary to take precautions. It may come back to haunt them.
I'm still wearing masks in stores, rubber gloves at the gas pumps, etc.
Was hoping to be able to get to Myrtle Beach this summer, but still gonna play it by ear and see how this all pans out.

Really? That's terrible! Almost everyone I see in the stores here is still wearing masks.

Was at Costco today about 1pm (Orange County, SoCal) and most had masks, but it was packed like the Friday before a holiday. They are no longer monitoring access, but there was a Costco employee in the meat section making sure people didn't loiter too long. Heard him say a couple times to various folks "Move Along if you are not buying" Store was well stocked with pallets of paper products, Clorox spray and GermX....

Got a hot dog - with mustard but no onions.

Yep. People are bored with the whole idea I think so they just don't care any more. At best we were 75/25 at the peak. Didn't take long for that to reverse though. I still wear a mask every where. I didn't have one while out in Yelly but wish I would have. Boardwalks are 6' wide in most areas. Single file along the edges would make sense but no. Folks are clustered all over, stopping in the middle and blocking traffic. Hundreds of folks shoulder to shoulder at Old Faithful. Once I got done hiking the back basin I scooted out of there in a hurry. I tried to pick the less popular areas but it was still too much.

Same on the local trails we hike on. They are wide enough to share, yet groups of 2, 3 or 4 will walk side by side by side by side, forcing others out of the way. We (wife and I) will go single file to be courteous, but it seems like we are the only ones who try.

Up here in the High Desert of Socal ( San Bernadino County) we are in the final stage of reopening as of this Friday . I'm seeing less and less people wearing masks ea day and social distancing isnt even being followed anymore

Businesses that mandated wearing masks inside their business back a couple months now not being regulated . Even restaurants here not requiring masks for dine in or pick up . Seeing alot of activity out along the many trails and powerline rds with ATV's , UTV's and dirt bikes . Even seeing kids playing with others in my neighborhood daily

Which is stupid because daily new cases are just as high now as they were a few months ago. Covid didn't go anywhere.

The USA just shows how stupid they are by having the highest number of cases of any country.

    21291-a4dff875ec857f6816aece8ed7e4e362_aa7e14c1804ba7fcfb68aad8af0208dae6acdd87.jpg

I"m in the northern part of LA county where the number of cases is fairly low but most are still wearing masks in stores. There are a few imbeciles that wear them below their noses. At work it's worse no one wears one except me. I take it off when I'm in my office but wear it in and out of the building or to the bathroom.

My wife went to Costco today and they are selling the cloth masks in 50 packs. She picked up a box for me.

I hope anyone posting in this thread wears a mask in public. There are enough bad things to read here with our age. I don't want to read covid deaths as one of them.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning.

Face mask use around here is pretty low, maybe 20% of people in stores. My wife and I (and 19 yr old daughter) still wear them when out in public and shopping for groceries. Both of us are required to wear them where we each work.
I’m amazed at the amount of people not wearing masks and gloves, but I only want to take care of myself, wife, and daughter.

Stay safe, enjoy the day! :oldglory:

Got a very rare compliment yesterday.

New trd tundra had snapping noises on stops and turns.
    Everything tight.
    Removed the skid plate.
    Noises gone.
Greased all mounting surfaces and reinstalled.
    Noises still gone.
Cust called and was thrilled and to thank me.
    Will wonders never cease..

Spent much of yesterday at eye doctor. Vision almost back to normal. Looks like new glasses in a month. I can see again.

At dialysis now. That may end soon. Kidney function nearing 80%. (From 17%)

Chemo #6 tomorrow. Long way to go still.

    Feeling better/stronger every day.
