nothing wrong with it. I just like this design better though. The cap just sits in it as opposed to having to put the cap in the Meso Gashole. The hole was always a bit tight for my gas cap so I had to push it in pretty forcibly. I suppose I could have stretched the hole a bit but I saw the Hawaii Off Road Yotas cap and picked it up instead

Exactly what I was talking about. I’m sure it works fine for your needs too. Thanks.

Thanks. I was wondering how hard it was to push the cap into the Gashole. You've confirmed my suspicions.

I saw this earlier today on this thread and tried it out. Free. Just use a interior pry tool to remove the lanyard and reinstall it to the other hole.

It works perfectly for me. I did 4 panels instead of two for the deck and have significant storage at front of bed and then use the Rubbermaid’s for easy access stuff. Cost about $85 and I can remove in 5 minutes or so.

Found on OEM bed cover for a steal last weekend and jumped on it (it’s just dirty in the pic). Also installed the 12v solutions remote start and bumpershellz. It’s been a busy day.

That looks good. Now here's a question for any Toyota folks that may be around. Why does my 2014 Tundra have a gas cap holder but my 2020 Tacoma does not?

Because they saved 7 cents per truck to delete it.

7 cents and to think I paid Meso $20.00 or so and I already had a factory hook for the darn cap!

It's funny to hear people are having this experience. I had a couple of second generations and always had that "fart" smell with the a/c. Now I'm on my third 3rd generation and have never had that problem with either of the three trucks (16, 18, and 20). Interesting.

Because Tundy's make more trips to gas pump than the Tacoma.
