I actually have a half dozen jumps but back in the day my motocross/hanggliding/mtnbiking habit got in the way of jumping.
It's pretty amazing I made it to 20. Then 30. Now will be 57 next month. I have lived three full lives already!

I just don't want there to be anything left at the end! People who die healthy with good knees and no injuries from life really didn't live in my book.

Yeah. Awesome. Because my left knee is on borrowed time after many surgeries. It’s gives me that mr. T attitude every time I want to ride or get bananas.

Once I am done here I will be going to the Carolinas to ride trails with the OP.

 

That reminds me of a place I rode down in Florida, Santos Trail near Ocala, Vortex Trailhead. I rode some of the smaller stuff but left the 15' drops and the 60' jumps to the youngsters. I was there a few years ago. Here's a pic of the entrance with the qualifier stunt on the left. If you couldn't ride that you shouldn't be in there. Zoom up on the signage lol.

 

Yeah I’ll pass on a 60’ jump. I just like smooth flow, not gnar.
