no that was me acknowledging your post but I am aware that mods are on this thread and giving a worthy response would likely result in both of us getting TW vacations. Granted you’ve already demonstrated that you’re the kind of person that feels like he is more important or is swinging around a larger than average piece of hardware simply because he bought a more expensive truck, but can’t afford the $10 letter already speaks volumes about yourself. There seems to be a rash of Tacoma owners lately who, lucky as fuck to be inside of a warranty, do not think to use it without being prodded to do so by a 15-page thread.

Given the OP’s situation I would have driven straight to the local dealer and said, hey, my T fell off. Can you help me kind sir? Why yes, my truck is indeed still under warranty.

Drivetrain warranties and ESPECIALLY bumper to bumpers are amazing. Use them. Don’t hesitate, don’t try to diagnose from a distance with random strangers on the internet, however lovely their intent may be. Just go to the freaking dealership. For god’s sake. It’s where you’ll end up anyway, under warranty. Once you remember you have it.

 

Ok sure you paid for an expensive product but don’t get the totality of it, what are you gonna do. Let’s simplify this. You Hungry as heck and goto McDs or wherever and buy a combo burger, fries and a drink but you only the burger and drink. What are you gonna do? Remember, you’re hungry as hell and you worked your ass off this this meal.

That’s what I did today sir. Spent less than 10 minutes there and they said the part will be/has been ordered.

 

Pretend for a moment that you had done that first, and had skipped the phone calls to 1) the original salesman 2) the sales manager and 3) Toyota. How much happier your life could have been, you could have drank a cold beer and watched Murder She Wrote or whatever you do when you’re not frothing over missing letters.

 

So basically, what you’re saying, is that buying a TRD OR is equivalent to buying a combo meal and they forget to give you fries; but the TRD Pro includes the fries? So if I bought Fox 2.5 with resi’s front and rear for my TRD OR, does that mean I get some of the fries, all of the fries, or maybe some curly fries, or maybe some chicken nuggies on the side?
