Maybe a resistor went bad? I've had to replace all of mine after about 3 years of having them

This is only my second post so hopefully this turns out alright but, I sound deadened all my does and the back wall a couple months ago. Made the biggest difference around the subwoofer. I've actually replaced the factory subwoofer since then but this was all prep work for new speakers.

Did you seal the big ass holes in the door? That’s going to give you the best sound improvement in your mid range. Gotta seal those big ass holes and it’ll improve the speakers so much.

The front doors are sealed up with Dynamat on the outer door. All the doors have NVX SDRF20 3 layer sound deadener on the inside. I'm getting my rear door speakers installed any day now with another amp, so I'll have the shop put another sheet on Dynamat the cover the big ass holes in the rear doors as well. But yeah I wanna avoid taking the door panels on and off and on and off and on and off every time I wanna do work. So I'm going all in on the sound deadening.

The anchors had to be removed or the liner will sit on top of them and possibly break them. I wouldn't go as far to say what I did is nuts lol. If your concern is water and mud, I plan on putting small little rubber gaskets around the anchors. It'll be fiiiine :burp:

The child seat anchors? Well I believe my JL Stealthbox covers 2 of them. I didn't sound deaden over them tho, mostly on the ribbed wall itself because I didn't want to effect the mounting surface of anything on the face of that rail thing..

What is the benefit of the new SPC UCAs vs the old ones, Do they have more articulation at the ball joint, stronger, cool points? I checked the SPC website and didn't see any thing about a trade in program. Maybe I missed it though.

That happen to hold yeti ramblers already or xl fountain drinks as well as coffee mugs plus the one for soda cans and 12oz cups. Necessary since we have to put it somewhere to row the boat. :burp:

I knew I wasn’t the only one with the bass level knob there. I just wish the double sided tape would hold better.
