You use premium gas? I just started and noticed a pretty noticeable difference in throttle!

I've used premium gas for months now in my truck and the only difference I notice is when my auto wants to let the truck run around 1000-1200 rpms and I roll on throttle.

If I keep rpms higher i can't tell a difference, and I can't tell a difference between mpgs for sure.

TBH, i wouldn't buy premium if I daily drove my truck, but since it doesn't get driven much and I top it off every time I run by costco.

Yea same. I accidentally one day put superpremuim from Walmart in there that was like $2.50 and didn't notice until it was done.

The biggest difference i noticed was my truck can maintain about 70-75mph going up a pretty good incline where as without it the speed would decrease until i downshifted. Its a more noticeable difference for me at top end speeds than low.

Lol, if it wasnt for the fact that i dont ever plan on getting rid of it and it will be with me till one of us dies id run junk fuel. But since im going to have it for a long time, i consider it easy maint. It keeps the plugs longer, keeps it performing better longer. Good stuff.

I got it but I haven't tried to put it on yet. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't conflict with my dual battery wiring on the firewall.

    Best one i can use.
I bought a 96 TA lt1. Motor had right around 12k mikes on it (documentation to prove it) wiring was shot on the car. So while i was playiny with the wiring i found the intake manifold had a leak (common). So i tore it off to reseal. Inside it and the intake ports on the head were just gunked up terrible (87octane). I cleaned it out and got it all back together and drove it pretty close to 8k miles before the opti spark went out (many other things broke and went out during this 8k miles as well). So i went ahead and tore everything down again (intake leaking again in a different spot my fault this time) after 8k ish of premium fuel intake and head ports were almost just as clean as when i cleaned them out. I traded it for my e30 bmw shortly after that.
