If we have the original dongle kit and don’t plan to trade in for vF tuner, will the flash manager be updated for original dongle kit users so we can flash to 2.0?

Make sure it is on, not in accessory mode.

I just flashed 2.0 Final: 04B81_Premium_Stock_Thx and reset LV and AT. I had a question regarding tire sizing. I’m currently running Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac in 265/70/R16 (which is the same as the factory sizing). From what I found online even though the tire dimensions are the same as the factory 31.6” they are 8lbs heavier per tire. I’m feeling the truck bogging down a little because it is shifting too early on light to moderate pedal input from a stop or while taking a slow corner. I know that Mat suggests to drive the trucks for 500 miles after flashing to really get a feel for the tune. Should I wait to see how it adapts to the truck? I have read that some guys are flashing the 33” file on 31” tires because it is supposed to have higher shift points. Has anybody had experience with this?

    Thanks for your support!

Yeah I'd say wait. The trans really is lethargic at first. Put a couple tanks in it and see how it changes

I have 34" tires, flashed 35", no 34" option. Should be ok? Flashed premium, this is OLE though??

Yes you should be good. Need to drive it for a while and see how it performs. If you think it could be better after driving for a while reflash to 33's.

I don't have nearly enough miles to make an official comment, but I have noticed the truck feels bogged a lot with this tune. It accelerates good, but once you're light on the pedal it seems like I'm always at 1k rpms and always got mash the pedal a bit to get it to go up. Just wanted to point out I've noticed something similar so far.

We're you previously an avid ECT guy? I feel it too but chock it up to not having, or the perception of not having ECT.

I wasn't, that's the thing. I did reset all the values and find its shifting very rough on cold starts...never had it like this before when I've reset the values. I'm gonna ride it out a few hundred miles and see if it gets better so I can make an official report. I'm assuming its all just 'learning and settling' right now. (Even though I've never had it act like this before on previous tunes)

Is this a joke or can I really not use the dongle to load this tune?

Agree on this one, My truck felt the same way when I first installed the last beta, and feels way again now with 2.0. But pretty early in the few thousand miles that I had the beta installed, that feeling went away. I believe it's part of the adaptive transmission programming.

@OVTune can we get a rundown of expected behavior in various drive modes for 2.0 Final (6.16.2020). Obviously we don't have gearlock but I've seen different theories on the drive mode behaviors for this version. Can you set us straight?

    D: Tuned
    S: Tuned + stock-like "manual" shifting?
    ECT: ?
    ECT + S: ?

@Atl_taco_ Yes the dongle versions are now obsolete. You have to send the dongle into Matt and he will update you to the P5flash. I don't know the exact process, sorry.
