Soon was yesterday for everyone but dongle owners that didn’t notice the 50+ pages of discussion about the need to return dongle to get p5f 2.0 and FREE vF tuner.

Thinking about flashing, but heading out on a long road trip this friday, fully loaded and pulling trailer.

I'd love to be running the tune for performance and MPG, but not sure if I want the tune learning anything when I'm carrying all that extra weight and towing.

    Thoughts?

didn't really wanna go their but not surprised. I'm sure it was the color of my skin that got me out of it and, not my respect and attitude toward the officer...

hahahaha, now That's! how you end up in a bad situation.

Get in a couple drives before heading out. You will appreciate the new tune.

Yes that is exactly what I’m experiencing. I had the 91 2.0 Beta installed and it was driving good. But it could be part of the learning process. I’m going to give it 500 to 1k miles to see how it feels.

Unfortunately that did not work either after installing the one above thank you though :-( Same thing all top buttons identify/flash/etc grayed out in the flash tool except copy/paste (system id and my name are in the text box) but able to connect to truck via the debug tool just fine...feels like I did everything correctly. I remember having the same problem flashing either the 2.0 beta or 1.0.5 and eventually it somehow worked. There's another user on here reporting the same problem as well.

After uninstalling old FM and installing new FM, did you also reinstall the REG file? The installation folders are different now, so the license needs to point in the right direction.

Garage doors be damned. Replacing one section or a few is easy. :D

It's the house wall that you need to worry about. :bananadead:

I did not - I just tried though and got the same thing. BUT I think you've solved my problem - I looked through old emails to find the reg file and realized that the system id that I sent in months ago was different than what is showing in the flash tool. So I'm guessing I just need to get a new key... the laptop I'm using is the same so I don't know why that would have changed

    :hattip:

It has been said that MS Updates (or maybe computer manufacturer updates) can change the System IDs?

I thankfully have not had that problem, but I am not 100% confident that I won't.
