No the clips were easy. None broke. It’s an easy swap. However for a bumper, you need to cut into the actual bumper not the valance.

The plastic it clips into, where it extends slightly underneath the valance itself? I have no idea how to describe it, sorry lol.

No, I hear you. So you have to cut even higher than that for a bumper, basically almost up to your lower grill. That part it clips into is attached to the bumper and is one piece.

Yeah, measure twice. Cut slightly oversized, prop the bumper up onto the bolts, and make your final marks on how you want the cut. Take your time and keep a day free If any errors happen. The trim kit bumpers usually come with allow some room for error, but still try and get it as best as possible and imagine that isn’t a thing. Finish with a sanding sponge. Lastly, use an oscillating tool. Some people say an angle grinder, multi tool(razor blade), but I found that the oscillating tool made it super easy.

Wow, not usually a fan of bull bar type bumpers, not debating all the pros and cons just personal aesthetic preference, but I really like this style.

The install? About 20 minutes total, it's literally all plug and play for the MESO kit, all you're doing is plugging in a new harness and LEDs.
