I've considered splicing a 12v DC plug onto my VIAIR for easier plug and play and not having to open the hood and run the clips to the battery...of course I need to do the 12v power to the bed mod!

One of those seltzer brands gives me a wicked headache and I think I'm just destined to live a life of beer and various brown liquors.

@EatSleepTacos saw your post in that stock recovery point replacement thread. Between the BPF and SOS options, what would you choose?

(I also saw your qualifications (or maybe you just liked the reply) regarding the factory point not being the absolute greatest, etc., so I know that this isn't the end-all, be-all recovery solution.)

Of the two I prefer BPF. It's 1/2" thick vs 3/8". It also bolts into 3 bolts vs the two of SOS. Or at least I think SOS only grabs two bolts, hard to tell from the pics. Either way, I prefer BPF still due to being thicker.

They're great recovery points for trucks with a stock front bumper, because those that have a stock front bumper typically aren't getting themselves super stuck.

Ok, thanks. Saw it specified bolts for Off Road, which I assume means the TRD Off Road (aka what I have). Will add this to the list for next month's groceries lol.

I plan on a hybrid bumper sometime down the line, but probably not this calendar year. We'll see!

Correct, the bolts you have there currently are longer due to your recovery hook that's right there. Since this is thinner, you'll need shorter bolts. I recommend mcmaster carr

edit: and you'll want class 10.9. That's the metric equivalent to grade 8.
