I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this truck.

Seller is being oddly non-communicative all of a sudden.

And I found these details about the service performed yesterday:

Did I see an open recall in the original carfax link ? Something to inquire about.

So the current owner brought it in to have all this serviced yesterday? If it’s all fixed, I don’t see anything too concerning. Verifying the 4x4 issue is resolved seems like the most concerning thing. Everything else is minor stuff.

Naw, it’s scratched and dented up. Also the clear coat is toast. If that stuff doesn’t matter to you at least go drive it.. with the windows down so you can hear the other issues.

Make sure you verify 4Hi and 4Lo engage and feel right.

Drive it and verify everything else they listed. Ask what oil was put in it. A lot of places are putting 0w20 now but our V6 takes 5w30 realistically, esp at that mileage. Was it high mileage synthetic or what

Drive it on freeway to check for vibes. Check ac/heat, wipers, oil leaks etc...most importantly, find a nearby dirt road and test the 4WD. Do not try that on dry pavement.

I can confirm no backup camera on that tailgate handle like my 13' has.

He’ll be fine as long as he doesn’t turn much. Just test it on a straight empty street or the dealer lot.. drive straight a bit then put in 4Lo and drive straight then disengage.

I always find it strange when l see a vehicle at a used car lot/dealership that has licence plate on it?

That looks lifted to me? Definitely check suspension, see if it has spacers and/or blocks in the rear/add-a-leaf, etc.

If this truck had any 4WD issues that was recently serviced, I'm going to really test it on dirt roads versus just straight line on dry pavement.
