    I popped out the little black covers and found these connected to them. Anybody know what they're for?

    Those are blanks for options your truck did not have installed....Locker, Fog lights, stuff like that....

    the locker, fogs, and bed outlet buttons are above them. What else could they be. its an '07

    Far left on mine is the DAC... The others are blank. Someone will have a truck with all of the goodies to let you know.

    I think it makes a difference if your truck is Auto or Manual...

    next question i guess then is could i just put a switch in there and have the DAC and VSC?

    Probably not. The wiring harnesses are hard to run once the whole body and interior are put together...but the sensors and terminal parts aren't installed...so you don't have a complete system.

    you know you speaking of waste got me thinking...my sister says that in the toyota manufacturing plant, when ever they need spare parts; for example the lights off of a rear bumper for the license plates, that they just take the lights off of an uninstalled bumper and put them on one already installed one completely scrapping the uninstalled bumper.

    Thats a waste.
