Yeah I know its not the sexiest mod, I get that, but this more of a Function Over Form kinda thing , After 11 years of Aikido my knees are shot and I can use all the help I can get jumping into the bed. Plus Im gonna be 60 in July and I'm not getting any younger.

Did it all by my lonesome. Took about 2 hours. Only tricky part is getting the washers on the mounting bolts. I kept dropping them. I think a solid spacer and just a couple of washers to fine tune the level would be better.

You do loose the factory tie down system. But it looks like you can shorten the mounting bar so it fits between the cover supports. I’ll know about that later this week.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I would have had one a year ago, except I've got a dual exhaust and I'm afraid it would interfere with the left tailpipe.

How handy IS it with the tailgate down?

I just turned 65 and after 26 years of Army life my knees definitely appreciate that I put one of these on my truck, too. Maybe not sexy, but really functional at this point.

Can you use that if the tail gate is open or does it need to be closed? I'm 65 BTW...

    Thanks,
    Ted

There is a adjustment screw with a gear on it. It allows you to angle the inside up or down.
