the only thing i thought that sucked with putting in my DTLT was the steering shaft. once i finally got that damn thing disconnected, i had no issue with installing them thought it was rather easy honestly

Yea it looks like its leaking...I just noticed it when I popped the hood. Think it just started. Should I do anything else while I'm at it? I think the SC has about 30-40k on it.

Probably wouldn't hurt to change the nose drive oil and do the solid coupler. It'll be easier if you pull the blower off and it doesn't take too long to do that. Also spark plugs would be on my list

Ditched the 4.56 idea. Did some maths and not too enthusiastic about the RPM at freeway speeds. Going to follow the footsteps of my good buddy @BassAckwards and do 4.10 axles from the T2R Taco.

Ti mufflers are too rich for my blood. I might be able to weld together a bunch of cola cans though.

The intercooler lid has a gasket? I don't remember there being one when I've had to remove it or install it back onto the blower.

O right. That's what it is. That's why I was like wait, what? Now that I think about it I've seen the O-ring but I was expecting a full on gasket.

Funny story. Had some coolant under my truck. Looked like it was coming from the upper radiator hose. Barely spraying tho. Found the radiator hoses very hard like lots of pressure. Checked the radiator cap while not hot but not cold lol. Cracked it open and nothing. And then went to losen it more and sprayed me all over. Face in my mouth and eyes. It was bad. And come to find out the rubber gasket on my coolant funnel fell off and was in the radiator. And the cap still went on. It was blocking off the vent to pressure couldn’t be released. Something stupid could have ended bad. Luckily didn’t blow off a radiator hose or so engine damage.

Was too hard but def a lot more stuff to remove and put back. Having a second person would help. I did it solo. But ya mostly time consuming. Once you get the hubs, drain the diff and axles out its unbolting a bunch of stuff and wedging it out. You need to swap a part from current diff to the next yah plan a half day to full day depending how savvy you are. I did it off and on over a couple days.

What size tires do you have? RPMs have not been too bad with 4.56 buy it does all depend on your tire size.

Quick fix if you accidentally ingest ethylene glycol.... take a few shots of vodka.

In another life, I was working as a vet tech... a client rushed in with a large dog stating that it drank coolant that had spilled onto the garage floor. The vet took the dog back and the treatment was a bottle of Stoly. We had a drunk ass dog stumblin' back there after 30 mins.....Dog survived and no kidney failure.

Amazing. Well I’m not a manual, but that’s the size I had when I went to 4.56 and I loved it. Now I want 5.29’s

Just had an ugly bill to pay a second ago. AC light was blinking on this warm 90* day.

I have noticed my AC compressor has been leaking only when activated on. Like I could see tracer dye on the magnetic clutch after usage. This has been going on for the last two summers and I knew the compressor was eventually going to crap out.

$491 shipped gets me a new Denso AC compressor assembly, a factory relay, and a factory high side tube assembly. (Mine has been bent and is tweaked from when I tried to bend it when I tweaked it using pliers one time) might as well take care of all of it while I'm in there. :(

    Buy once, cry once right?
