    That is awesome. That's how you know your engine is putting out some power.

    @OVTune Will the catted version pass emissions? Also, what ETA for round 2 preorder?

    He isn't going to be able to answer the emissions question. The answer depends on too many things, most importantly what your respective station is looking for. If they just hook up to the OBD then you will pass as long as your O2 sensors don't report a problem (check engine light). If they run the exhaust then it depends on your truck. Add in environmental factors as well.

    A 200 cell high flow is probably going to cut it close, but again multiple factors regarding the cats. How long, what kind of substrate, etc. Bottom line, it's a complicated answer.

    To give you some perspective, i have 4" long 200 cell high flows on a naturally aspirated 6.0L chevy engine running about 450hp. It passes an exhaust test at idle but runs so close to the limit that it trips the check engine light after a bit. Usually hot days at idle. I had to go into the PCM and tell it to stop tripping the check engine for the 02 sensors. Problem solved. I've passed multiple state emissions.

    For a 3.5L v6 it will probably be ok. You won't be pushing any boost during an emissions test so I would say there is a chance it will pass. That being said, I am not an emissions expert and technically these mods are "for off-road use". This comes with the territory of modifying your engine. Look at it this way, high flow cats are better than no cats.

    @OVTune,

    Will the DP’s have an additional bung for sensors? It may be on the opposite side and not showing on the picture.

    At what point are we on our own as far as tuning goes? Given the vF tunner roll out and 2.0 being the last released tune, is the TT tune a base tune for the advertised numbers and then we are on our own to tune it from there? As an example, powermax from 10 psi to 15 psi, or base kits from 6 to 10 (with necessary fuel upgrades). Is the TPS based fuel demand table the same across all boost levels? Maybe when the time is right, a new blog to go into some of the details will be cool.

    Yes there will be additional bungs. These are our test kit (fitment verification mostly)

    So here is our plan with the roll out.
    1.OVTune will be providing tunes, and dialing in the tunes on trucks that need it.
    2. We are still figuring out the exact details but planning to offer a limited powertrain warranty on our turbo kits (and the kit itself). But it will require using our tune with no editing whatsoever.
    3. If you run higher boost elevels or start tuning your own that is ok, but you will no longer be eligible for the warranty.
    4. For us to provide tuning, warranty, etc you cannot have any outstanding recalls. (like the fuel pump recall, or high pressure fuel pump chirping tsb, etc)

    My truck has zero recalls when I checked a week ago, and I do not plan to tweak anything so awesome!

    Would the AGM battery voltage increase count as a edit to eliminate the warranty?

    @whitedlite @JamesT @TWTaco

    Thanks! Was hoping there be a street tune and then flash it back over. As for emissions in Houston, it’s been years since I gotten an inspection done on the side. It’s much harder these days.

    Wrong thread indeed, but I've got your answer. No you do not need a harness. It plugs right into the factory wiring going to your original lights. Now back to the boosties :goingcrazy:

    EDIT* Do note that there is a chance (when offroad/over time) that the plastic will crack where the bolts mount and some epoxy will be necessary.

    so I’m in the 25

    for the poor souls like me with a fuel pump recall We can’t just replace the fuel pump with the one from your kit?

    Or are you saying we can’t even get a tune for our trucks?

    Sorry if this has been previously covered....anyone have a gear ratio recommendation to complement the turbo addition?
