Here's the very short of it (assuming no labor costs that you install yourself):

<$1000: Bilstein 4600 or 5100 shocks and your choice of front coil springs / rear leaf springs with desire lift (0-3")
~$1200: Old Man Emu (OME - not to be confused with Original Equipment Manufacturer OEM) - 2-3" lift

For your general, vague description of use, I don't recommend:
    >$2500: Fox/Icon/ADS/Dobinson/etc coilovers up front, remote reservoirs, long travel, et al.

Does Anyone tried a 2013 DC short bed Colorado Camp Shell a into a Double Cab taco ?

I got tired of AT tires , they look good but were noisy , no good for MPG, no smooth ride, more like a riding a Jeep... kind of killing kidneys... i enjoyed them 40,000 miles, could go for many more ( keller safari BF goodrich) but dealer check them and big chucks of the tires worn/chop , one must to be replaced , loosing air puncture next to edge, so got replaced by Cooper Evolution HD $85 each at discount tire and some wheels at the dealership $98 install and balanced ...

what a difference... day and night !!!
Retuning from El Paso 80 miles per hour gave me 16.45 mpg and the ride is super smooth now

Nice! My GFC will be mounted to an Alucab shell which sits below the roof line a little on the 1st gens. I need to put some square tubing to raise the tent to allow it to clear the roof enough. Curious how much gap you have where the GFC hangs over the roof. I'm thinking 1.5 clearance will do it allowing for a little flex and bounce room.
