What do you guys think a decent % off MSRP is realistic with the whole lack of inventory right now? I'm shooting for 8% off is that too much?

Just cast a wide net, mine was 9 after incentive 12 before. Of course I had several MSRP quotes, you just need 2 or 3 to play ball.

    Anyone refinance their 2020 yet?

Crazy question but is there really a 1 year wait rule? My family keeps bugging me to go try and see if I could get a 1.9% from our local credit union. Currently at 5.8%

Surprisingly I’m not finding that rates are not that good right now. ~2.99 with 800+ credit. Weird because I just refinanced my house because mortgage rates are so crazy right now

My current 2016 is 1.9. And that wasn’t a promotion or anything

Capital one is what I have right now. Talking to them was annoying as shiiite. I told him that I went through their stupid car finder even though I knew what I was getting. I said look I am trying right now to give you a chance to keep my business when our current loan gets paid off in a week. can you do better than 2.99? They said that it’s all automatically calculated. It came out to 3.3. They wouldn’t even talk about it without going through the stupid car finder program even though I told the guy I don’t need help finding a car.

My credit union is offering 3.49 for 60 months and 3.74 for 61 to 84 months. They are offering a 1.9 promotion if you refinance with from another lender. I was told the wait to refi is 3 months here in Pennsylvania.

I've been looking for about a month for a TRD Off-Road 4x4 for a reasonable price. When I bought my 2nd gen back in 2013 I remember there being a ton of Tacos in my area, it seems like the market has completely changed making it super hard to find Tacomas right now. Is anyone else having this issue? Or has this been a trend with the 3rd gen trucks?

I read that they are reopening with limited shifts so hopefully the market opens back up soon.

That sales strategy really chaps my ass. Same thing as with cell phone companies. Best deals are reserved for new customers. Screw rewarding customer loyalty or in this case beginning with them.

I know. So I'd have to go with the dealership finance and move to get a better rate. They also will try to complete with other offers but it requires special approval. I think they should give out the 1.9 to all customers with excellent credit but they don't with out going thru hoops

I purchased a 2020 TRDSport DCSB (with premium and tech) on June 1st. I got the 0.0APR (which is what sucked me in to looking in first place) and I paid 41K OTD (destination really added, and now OR has tax on autos). Was hoping to do a little better but not sure how that compares to what other folks are paying. Traded in my 2016 TRDOffRoad (had a 2000 and 2005 as well previously.) On Cars.com and Edmunds it seemed like I should have been OTD around 38K, but I'm happy with the 0.0 and stoked on the new ride.

I was just shopping three weeks ago and there was definitely a shortage. My dealer said for one that they have been super busy, but that inventory was low all over, at least on PNW. It's no big deal for them to do a dealer trade but the closest place I could find the rig I was after was 3 hours away in Seattle. The last two times I have purchased new Tacos (2005, 2016) I have been able to find it at my dealer or somewhere else here in town.

My Grandpa bought that same truck about a month ago for $32,500; a new 2020 SR5 4x4 v6. He bought his when he met me at the dealership where I was buying my certified 2019 for $28k...

Just got this Cement 2020 TRD OR 4x4, no tech or advanced tech... Only add-ons are tints (AZ requires them out the door), predator tube steps (already off and selling), and some small misc stuff... 1750 off with toyota credit, before ttl it was 39ish.
