IMHO a loader should be built where the hydraulics give up before steel bends.

But, we all know that things are no longer built this way. Sadly.

 

I'd use a porta-power like the one you posted to bend it back straight. You might need to over bend it a touch to prevent spring-back. Then I'd weld a plate on the open side of it, just make sure you've got the clearance to do so.

I ordered an upper radiator hose for one of our 140’s from them. It’s an elbow with two different sized ends. It wouldn’t fit. I emailed them, they called me back and said half of their batch was wrong and to throw it away and they sent me another one

 

Not too bad actually. Need to pick up hydraulic oil in the morning so I can play with it though.

 

Baled a little hay today.

 

This morning’s project. I put the Haban sickle mower on the 1050. I just had to see it work.

Most of the pieces are here. I was missing a spring so I had to get a little creative. But it’s in functioning condition once again.

Does that baler have the self contained hydraulic pressure system to keep tension on the belts?

 

That's a very cool piece of machinery. I'd have a very tough time letting that go.

 

How did it cut?

 

I actually have it listed now. I only have one small spot that really makes sense to use it.

BUT, if I can’t get my asking price. I will use it for five minutes every week with a smile on my face.

I didn’t actually cut with it. I read somewhere that you’re supposed to oil the blades. Need to look into that.

Always thought of getting one of these, but I'd only be able to dig after it rains for an extended period of time. My property is primarily clay, during dry summers it's like concrete.

I've always had good luck with them except for their tractor manuals. (I ended up getting a factory AGCO manual for my '64 MF35 Utility) If I don't get factory MF parts, I usually go through them. Their shipping prices kinda suck on small items, though.
