Anybody in here ever had issues with ditch lights and CHP or anything?

    Running no covers?
If I’m headed up 50 to or from Tahoe late at night and wanna use them like I would my high beams (on off for traffic) do you think it’d be an issue?

Above the headlights is supposed to be covered. I have been told by enforcement out of my area. I still havent got a cover on them.

Alrighty will do, didn’t know it was that big of an issue tbh, as long as I’m not obnoxious about it

    Ditch lights are inherently obnoxious.

Send them here and I’ll dispose of them properly for you

...by mounting them to a Jeep :anonymous:

Didn’t know that either. Thought it’d be pretty cool to have them when needed.

Good to know how the forum feels about them I guess lol

    :boink: I’m just joshin.

I don’t like wheeling at night so I’d love a set of ditch lights.

I’ve just noticed a few times I’ve been alone on very dark mountain roads in Tahoe or somewhere similar where some good lighting would help a lot, esp with the risk of deer running in the road.. like I said before I’m really not looking to be an asshole about it just like high beams because I hate that shit

But when it aids me and no one else is around to be blinded, I figured I’d check if it’d really be an issue

If you bought them new, and still have the box. I'd be willing to bet it says on it somewhere, "not for highway use":notsure:
