If it’s a MT I prob would go 4.30. I have an auto and 4.56 was great on 285’s. My buddy is running 4.56 With a MT and 295’s and loves it.

What? Dude... that's a wack ass vet. Hydrogen peroxide used to be used to induce vomiting, but that is old school. Now they have a powder that you place in the corner of the doggos eye and he pukes all over the place.

I don’t see why not. Half a bottle in and like magic...vomit appears.

Window tint and a tiny handheld fan, you’ll be alright

Did that happen while you were installing a CSF radiator perhaps?

It was when I did my 3.5 URD intake. Ehh..

CSF radiator is one of those eventually mods that is on the list, but later when my radiator leaks. Lol.

Wasnt trying to get the dog to vomit. He told me vodka counteracted the ingredient in ethylene glycol that was deadly to dogs. No, the veterinarian wasnt Russian..

Update: i never bothered to verify any of this till now..... but I guess the vet knew his stuff..

i didn’t know of CVJ, nice find! Bookmarked their site for possible future sourcing. I wonder how their CV axles hold up against RCV’s??

CVJ is a top of the line oem replacement from what I’ve seen from the more hard core off road group. Nothing compared to RCV. The RCV’s are basically a 934 inner and Dana 60 outer with 35 spline shaft. Not to discredit them, but they aren’t in the same ballpark as far as what they offer. Plus I gained 1.5” of travel with my RCV due to greater cv angles.

    I have 275/70/17 now, but planning 33x10.50

    265/65/17 (stock size)
    75 MPH 3.73 ~2200 RPM

    33 X 10.50

    75 MPH 3.73 ~2000 RPM
    75 MPH 4.10 ~2250 RPM
    74 MPH 4.30 ~2350 RPM
    75 MPH 4.56 ~2500 RPM
    75 MPH 4.88 ~2700 RPM
    75 MPH 5.29 ~2900 RPM

4.10 lands it fairly close to stock gearing. Regains some performance lost from larger tires without much investment.

makes sense 4.56 was not bad and felt great but on the auto. I am on 315/70/17 now and wish I had 4.88.

Curious to see how they work out. After driving @SUMOTNK it has me seriously considering a set of Kenda Kleever 35/10.5/17's

nice! I remember looking for 10.5 tires but there were not really any around. Maybe it was just Kenda's but didnt have much info at the time. I like the idea of gaining 10-15lbs back per tire.

I was under the impression that the RCV’s were 930/Dana 44’s on a 35 spline shaft. Cool to hear first hand about the increased travel. Did you go hiemed steering too or did you get that on tie rods?
