I'm actually not a big Mopar guy, I was thinking it was a 69 with a custom grille.
So I made the joke about nicknaming an all black Charger the General Marley (a reference to Bob Marley's Buffalo Soldier).
Later it occurred to me that the Jamaican flag also has a big X on it like the Confederate flag. I guess it could be a theme, the 01 on the door could represent One Love.

Very cool ride. You don't see any of these anymore. I bet trying to find parts is a bitch.

    Dislike.
It's tough to tell for sure because they pulled the side markers, but that's definitely a '70 grill. They used the same body from 68-70, so the grills will swap pretty easily, but the side markers changed size & shape as well due to government meddling.

Last time I saw one in person was probably 7 or 8 years ago at a car show, agree on how difficult finding parts must be.

I'm sure thats an odd ride in the fact the engine is way in the back, So you must not hear much
running gear noise when that far removed from the engine. Similar to a VW bus.

I definitely didn't mean that I don't like Mopar, what I meant to say is I'm not that knowledgeable on Mopar, but I should be because my older brother has had several.
When he was a senior in High School he had a forest green 68 Roadrunner, he's probably had 50 different muscle cars since then. As far as classic cars I've only owned a few 60's Chevy Impala's.

All beautiful but I like the 68 because of the round taillights

Yeah, a '68's been my dream car for as long as I can remember. The small side markers that don't break up the lines, unbroken gaping maw of a grill, and the afterburner taillights....

Me and my son and his girl friend went to the Don Garlits Drag racing museum yesterday .
What a great place. Lots of cool cars and dragsters and one off crazy customs.

If in central Florida it is a must see for people like us. $20 per person over 60 $15.

The John Bradley Rail is a real piece of work. check out that engine...
The long WB dragster with the big silver tank between the frame rails was made to
push compressed air through the intake instead of moving forward forced air induction with a super charger. Nick named Bottle Baby.
The yellow funny car uses some kind of aircraft or Helicopter engine for super boost
rocket like launches. Never seen anything like it. So much fun....:D

This Eastern Raider jet funny car holds a bunch of titles and has run 295 mph and under 5.5 seconds in the quarter.
it has been changed up many times and was a regular v8 style funny car early on.

It's very interesting to find when you go to this museum that Don Garlits and his Wife Pat Mostly
drove Fords as their personal vehicles. Seems as if they nearly purchased a new one every year.
And then kept all of them. But for most of all the drag race cars he built they were almost exclusively
Mopars. I guess that sponsorship allowed him to get just about anything he wanted. Some truly rare
cars are on display that are just jaw dropping. Like this one V
