Yes, they know how to get these trucks aligned right. They won't just put it to spec, in fact the alignment sheet will show out of spec but it drives like a dream. They know what they are doing with these trucks.

LOL, I sold it to buy a new bike funny enough. But now that I have cash in hand / bank account, it's sorta hard for me to hit "pay now"

New frame day, then build a new bike for the ground up. Sorta thinking about taking that money and using it to make a Whistler trip or something instead.

Alright friends. Not sure this is the place to be asking. This is my first year hunting, I'm looking to harvest a cow elk - nothing too special.

I'm not too experienced, but I have to put in for the anterless tag by tomorrow night. Any recs for a solid unit? I know Kamas/Uintas are a hot spot but its covered with private land.

    What’s up Utah people!

My name is Ryan. Born and raised in SoCal. Currently live in Torrance CA. I work as a Grip in the movie industry.

The reason for my post is that I just spent a week with my wife and 2 young kids in Hurricane where my Aunt and Uncle live. I loved it there and am now considering my options of places to live. My reasons for considering a move include 1. More bang for your buck 2. Better quality of life for my little family 3. Adventure everywhere and very close by. That’s just to name a few. I’m getting kind of tired of SoCal and just trying to figure some things out.

My main question here is about work. I’m the sole provider for my family so I want to make sure that I’d be able to make enough money to provide for all of us. I build a ton of rock sliders on the side for local people here in California. I can build a lot of different things out of metal. I do CMC’s, suspension installs, rock sliders, bed bars, bed racks, etc...

Anyways, I would have to make metal fab my full time job. Just wanted to get people’s thoughts on if you think I’d get a decent amount of business there in Southern Utah. Would people from SLC come down for my work if it was at a decent enough cost? I’d of course be willing to expand my business a bit and be willing to start shipping rock sliders and stuff. Any input on living in Utah, working in Utah, whatever else your advice might be, would be greatly appreciated. My truck is paid off, wife’s SUV is paid off, no credit card debt or loans of any kind besides our mortgage. If I sold my house here I’d be able to put down around 200k on a house there and have close to 100k in the bank to live off of for a little while. Just to give you a small background on my financial situation so you can more accurately understand the situation I’d be in.

sorry for the ramble haha. Looking forward to hearing some thoughts. OK go!

Shit! Really? I thought I saw your truck today. Was thinking maybe everything was getting closer to normal.

    I assume COVID related?

Dude! You’re a TW legend. I’m sure most people here know who you are.

I replied to your DM, so I won’t repeat it all here. However, I would certainly welcome you to our state and we’d be better off to have you here.

Utah's full, but we'll make an exception for you.

SLC offroad crowd comes down that way a fair bit, but just for a pair of sliders, etc when theres a good list of options locally would be tough. I know I'd come down for a few things though :D

So. Utah has a ton of offroaders, so there is certainly potential for good fab work there. I know there are several shops already down there so it won’t be without competition but good fab will always have a market.

My wife, son and I are actually going to be moving to southern Utah in the next month or two, we’re heading down next weekend to start the home hunt. It’ll sure be nice to get out of the snow.
