So I am rather new to this. So this set up has no high beam bulb. Hi and lo is now from same bulb? And what is the turn signal? LED now? Also how much would the setup in pics cost? sorry for all the questions. Very interested in these lights just not sure of all the details. Thanks. And you do great work!!!!

The stock high beam is still there but the projector can act as a high beam as well. Turn signal is unchanged unless you want to add a lense for it. You would have to upgrade the turn signal to LED yourself

so you can still use your high beam on the stick like normal. also would this have the halo around it in the daytime? I will say personally not a fan of it.

High beam is still activated the same way through your stalk.

If you purchase the halo option, they get wired to come on with your drl.

On mine the projector and high beam are both wired to turn on like normal. Since I got the retrofit, I was allowed to have the regular high beam reflector blacked out as well

I have these headlights in stock and will be building them this weekend. They’ll be getting a standard bhlm. If you want to call dibs on them and have anything done to your specifics nows the chance! They have one repaired tab as seen in the photo below. Pricing will be as noted in my original post.

Heres the options I have in stock:
    -switchback halos
    -switchback drl’s
-light smoke side marker w/led bulbs
-smoked or amber turn signal covers

In the middle of my install. Can anyone confirm if the drl plug is no longer used? Also I have the @MESO stage 3 side markers and there is a yellow wire coming off them that has a wire tap but not sure where it goes.

thanks Kevin for the quick response. I’ll be sure to post pics once I get this buttoned back up.

The yellow wire with wire tap goes to your turn signal if you want switchback function

How’s the light output/cutoff etc. of the HIDs with stock projectors?

There is no real light cutoff with stocks, especially when compared to HID lights. The HID has a very crisp cutoff. The output is also no comparison. The HID puts out a lot more light/visibility. The color of the light also aids in visibility imho.

I believe there’s a few threads on here showing the output. The output is good, way better than stock, but you’re not getting that super crisp cut off of an hid projector. There’s obviously a huge price difference because of that!

Agreed . What I was trying to ask is how those particular HIDs paired with the stock projectors compared to the Morimoto projectors, say if doing a retrofit build

I’ve had a stressful month reconfiguring some things over here! Finally got around to updating the wait list on post #1. Things are really going to start rolling again, also finally getting back on the quad retrofit project for anyone who’s been following that!

With the LED retro, can the bulbs or projectors be rotated? I notice a fairly decent step so the cutoff is not a smooth line all across

There is supposed to be a step, it’s not supposed to be a straight line.
