Np. I've let numerous TW members use it for disassembly & assembly of their struts. Just let me know and I'll pm my address to you.

It really is super easy, and not sketchy at all. It's pretty impossible for a coil to go flying. I much prefer that method to using a compressor, but I haven't used a proper compressor like Daves before. Just a beefy workbench type. It's also nice because you don't need to worry about getting the top three studs and the bottom shock mount all lined up properly. Does it automatically since it's all bolted in already. I'd either do that route or go use Daves.

Since you're always up at the mountains on the weekends will you give me your address and a key? I promise to bring air freshener in case I need to go #2. Do you use Charmin? I have flaming hemorrhoids right now. Also, do you have premium cable channels? I could catch up on some of my shows. Oh, and do I need to bring my own microwave popcorn? I like the theater butter kind. Unless that's what you have?

Thanks Randall. I'll probably go this DIY route when the time comes. Unless Dave starts using Charmin.

I use a marker to mark everything before disassembly. That way the hat mounts & bottom mount are in the same location after assembly.

Should be able to take it to any dealer since it's still covered under factory warranty.

Sorry to hear/see that it’s still not working. You can bring it to any dealer but you might want to call the service department first. Pick one you like though.

    That sucks Kevin.

Yea, what these guys said. I would call the one you bought it from though and ask to speak to the salesman that sold it to you. Explain to him what happened and see if he wants to handle it. I know he's not the service guy but he might have some push with them. Or he might say you should take it back to that dealership specifically. I don't think they will but they might.

And I'm not telling you to be dishonest but I would not say I was out pushing the truck to the limits while off roading. Yes, these trucks are intended to be driven off road but just like your insurance I am willing to bet there is some fine print somewhere about abuse/misuse.
