Hey everyone. My master switch suddenly stopped working. I pulled the fuses and they're all good.

edit- checked my fuse pin again and it does have power. Still need to know why my master switch won't roll down any windows. I had a used switch from ebay that I also tried and no luck there either.

Most likely a broken wire in the harness at the door jamb. The wires bend every time you open the door and sometimes they break.

I pulled the boot off and didn't see any broken wires, but that space is so small, it's hard to tell. Any idea which wire is may be broken?

Most likely the offending wire(s) won’t look bad, until you pull on ‘em and find a spot that stretches. Repeated flexing will usually break the wire strands within the insulation, but not break the insulation itself.

Not an easy spot to get to though, you may have to pull the harness part way out. Finding a wiring diagram and testing at the switch connector is probably the best place to start.

Could also be a bad switch.

Before you edited the OP, you stated that the other windows worked from their respective switches, so the only wire you need to be concerned with is the power wire for the master switch. According to my '05 schematic, it's a red wire. It's probably the same for '14, but I can't be sure. As mentioned above, it's common for the wire to break inside the insulation. I have even seen it where at some point in the door opening cycle, it makes connection and things work.

Got it fixed! I have a viper alarm system with window modules and the fuse for the modules I had in the engine bay had popped. Took me a while to find the point where there was no power. Thanks everyone. You guys are rockstars.

It was a 15 amp fuse. Not sure why I was using a 15 and not a 20. Maybe it was the only thing on hand at the time.
