p.s. to all who use AVG anti virus (i use the free one) i found the reason the P5flash doesn’t work because AVG blocks it every time and it goes in your quarantine folder. you need to go to the settings and add an exception to the flash manager folder all your files are in (just add it to the main folder so it covers everything within it instead of a specific inner folder likes the tunes one). once this is done go back and update the flash manager from the drop down and it’ll download the latest P5 flash and it’ll be highlighted to click and open.

i just flashed the regular/35/5.29 and cleared the values as it said on the website! can’t wait to see how it feels.

**hopefully we can get that map switching function soon on the next update, thought it would be on this one...

Download Flash Manager, then get your system ID. Email Matt with your previous order number, also mention the reason why you need a new key (possibly make things quicker?), then your System ID, Truck Model, etc.

Im running 5.29/33’s/premium thx tune and it’s fantastic so far. Tip in feels perfect and mpg around town is up due to correct shift points. So far I’m very impressed.

Uh, maybe if you play with the VFtuner but this is the last iteration of the tune.

well hell if that’s the case then i guess you’re telling me i’ll just have to deal with the broken promises by matt saying 2.0 would include the map switching lol

Have you used it in 4LO at all? If tip in when 4LO is engaged is better then this truly seems to be the perfect tune.

A tune that includes Gearlock is coming and I’m assuming ECT as well.

This is the last iteration of the tune but it does not have all of the features of the final tune. A version of map switching as well as gear lock are said to be included with the tune when it is loaded to flash manager. He has not loaded the tunes to flash manager yet but wanted to release this tune so people wouldn't think that 2.0 is never happening.

Unfortunately, I fear that the drive to finish flash manager will be substantially reduced now but hopefully my fears are misguided.

I'm aware that Mat recommends clearing values with the final tune.

Any downside in NOT clearing LV and AT values?

Does that just imply it will take longer for the tune to eventually settle? or is there a parameter in there that should really be reset for optimum performance?

It will be fine after time, it will learn just the same. Clearing the values just helps speed the process.

@KrnTaco08 Double check the system ID#. I found the origianl email I sent to ovtune and compared it to what it is now. MY SYSTEM ID# HAS DEFINITELY CHANGED FROM UPGRADING TO WINDOWS 10 FROM 7. It will still show your name next to the system ID#, so it will appear as if everything is ok but buttons will be grayed out. YOU MUST CONTACT MATT FOR A NEW REGISTRY KEY IF YOUR # HAS CHANGED. Put this in caps so hopefully it doesn't get overlooked.

@KrnTaco08 You at least need to give him the new System ID# So if you deleted the program from your computer entirely, u will have to reinstall and send him the SYSTEM ID # that is shown.
