What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Only if you opt for the $5K tech package those come with. I wanted the cameras and the Army Green color, been waiting 12 years for that color. But to add the cameras and the Army Green color, $10K package, meant that my 4x4 Tacoma will now cost me about $47K. Now a few months later after feedback about the Army Green color it will be offered without the $1K shocks on each back side.

 

I am going to install new speakers in my 2019 Limited soon and was thinking about adding Duramat or NVX to the door panels while I have them off. My question is will this be worth my the time, effort and expense, if I'm not planning to anything other than the doors. Anyone?

I’m just wondering if there is something different electrically with a 2017 versus 2020. Seems like a lot of the complaints are from 2020s.

 

Awesome! Thx Ryandclb. This is perfect... I was wondering what I was going to do because I just bought and installed the front Torklift tie downs for it but I wasn’t sure if my Cali raised sliders that are on order will fit now.

I obviously can't confirm the design load for the carriage bolt through the sliders, so use at your own risk! Also, weren't those front torklift tie downs a PITA to mount? Hopefully, you can return them or resell them if you do decide to use the sliders as the front mount... GL!

 

What wheels are those? They look nice!

 

ya they weren’t as easy as I thought they were going to be especially the driver side, I couldn’t get my hand far enough in to manipulate one of the bolts but with some ingenuity I was able to figure it out... I found out after I was done that the kit came with a bolt fishing wire for the exact bolt I couldn’t get haha

 

I can tell you what I paid. I got the wheels delivered for $535 off of eBay. New TPMS $160. Then the tires. I got Michelin defender LTX AT2 265/65/R17s mounted and balanced out the door for $903. Go from there.

 

I'm installing 3 cameras but it won't be 360. Is the resolution better than previous years? The camera in my 2017 Kia Forte5 is 2x better than the OEM one in my 2017 Taco.
