What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I’ve been thinking of moving it here but not sure if I want to drill a hole. No other way to get the wire into the storage slot. And I’m not sure why I’m hesitant.
Another advantage to single din, more storage.

After screwing it up like 3 times and having the paint flake off I have learned to SAND the ever living shit out of that chrome and then clean it with acetone or prep wipes then definitely use an etching primer (couple of coats) then paint. Chrome has NO tooth at all for the primer/paint to stick to that is why you have to sand a lot. I used an electric DA to sand with. It is a solid weekend or more due to dry time. While I had the bumper off I took the opportunity to sand and repaint everything I could back there too. The NAPA here does colour match rattle cans for about $25 each to give you a ball park price.

I was hoping to pick up a part from a member in VA but the wife and kids aren’t into another three hour drive from Lost River
