I see no reason not to. I have lighting for every conceivable situation.

May I ask what lights are you using for backups? I'm on the fence about that. I'm planning on a switch pros in the near future to make adding lights easier.

Im using 4 rigid D series pro floods. My buddy works at napa which sells rigid so I get them for next to nothing. Just couldn’t see spending BD money on rear facing lights where literally anything will do for my needs.

Have you tried it at night yet? If glare is too bad, slide the crossbar back about 3”. That will pretty much eliminate it.

    it’s the hi-power too ;)

it’s not wired up cause I’m a ricer. And I need to change to all spot lenses. There is ZERO room to move it back. Very tight fit with the victory mounts. I could stand to mill out the holes another 1-2mm to gain some extra clearance from the back of the bar to the crossbar.

I’ll get some pics of the fit later.

Ooof, best of luck then my man. With all spot, my hood lit up like a mirror back in my face. Here’s a before and after. Hopefully your dark color does better.

yeah I’m almost certain there is gonna be a ton of glare even with the spot lenses. Oh well.

If I can get the top bolt holes on the mount milled out another couple mm I can get enough clearance to adjust the bar up/down. Right now it’s in a fixed position due to how tight everything is.

Also, I can slide the crossbar back about 3/4” but that’s it, without modifying the rack.

I meant like the whole cross bar. Undo the two bolts on each side and move it back. Does your rack allow that? I’m not too familiar with those. You can see here where it used to be.

Might be worth it to remove the rear bolt, slide it all the way back, and drill a single hole in each side to rebolt it. Or at least an idea depending on glare.

I’ll get it wired up this weekend. I’m pooped today from watching my daughter all day.

the XL80’s are amazing. I have some clear spot and wide cornering lenses coming for them as well.

I have no desire to to change out my spot lenses but would be curious what all that light looks like in amber. I need to get off my ass and wire my hi power. Just finished a move bumper for a buddy today so I’ll get back to my truck next.

yeah that was kind of my thoughts. Drilling a single hole if needed.

disregard the shitty potato pics. I was trying for a slow shutter speed hence the shaky photos. These are all three the same camera settings:

low beams (rx350 retrofit w/custom tuned clear lenses, philips CBH bulbs, 55w ballasts)

The pics don’t show the trees off in the distance that were lit up as well. I had the shutter speed too fast. I’ll get proper pics once I get my LP9 mounted and wired as well

The amber looks smooth, I like it. Your high beams are bright as hell, the factory projectors on my ram are pathetic. I need to change them out to HIDs
