Water leak? Nope pretty sure it's the weather stripping. Doesn't rain enough to be a priority lol

I did for my LCA but that's because I used the grease that whiteline gives you with their bushings.

After 3 or so months I got some noise coming from the front so I took my LCAs off again and used this instead -

Now I've got way too much of the damn stuff because my LCAs are quiet.

Water, mud, whatever gets in there :boink:

Then again that may happen to me when I go pinch weld and move up to 33s

    Oof

Implying he'll never get them on?

I had a lead for a transmission and transfer case, but in this situation I'd only want the case. He decided not to part so I'm still shopping.

I may just jump the gun and order from that Toyota yard in Rancho Cordova even though they're more expensive; they specialize in Toyotas and choose low mileage, well kept specimens to part out.

Good question for Ryan; I just remember mud/dirt when we had gone to HH

One of my coworkers bought a 2014 PreRunner last week. He just asked me what CAI to get o_O Hard to tell him they're for sounds and cosmetics when you have guys allover the internet claiming 30 horsepower increases with them.

If you've got a j shift transfer case from a V6, yeah I'll grab it from you; with the exception that the case isn't protected by rust

I order Honda ATF online and keep it fresh. I can feel the difference after changing fluid. Honda products are picky about using their brand of fluid. No need to risk it.

Be sure to check the fluid it on level ground. Overfilling by a little can cause a CV seal leak on a transverse FWD. I learned that the hard way by having the front lifted slightly when adding fluid and the dip stick was at the front. Also, if it has one, check to see that the transmission vent is open. Same issue that we have with Tacoma rear diff breather becoming clogged and blowing lube out the seals.

Don't you have to get an alignment every time you take those off? I'll check that stuff out!

I got both alignments free :burp:

Really didn't need it the second time but I got it checked anyway.

Customer that's purchased 3-4 vehicles from us owns a tire shop and he's hooked me up.

He even let me borrow his 3rd gen 4R that's stick shift when I got my tires mounted and balanced. That's when I first said "I need a 4R" :anonymous:

Well.... better than through the windshield. My aunt had one go through her Accord windshield and won't drive at night anymore. Really sucks on an older car when you just have liability.
