You're taking the pic at too steep of an angle and getting the reflection back from the light. Lower the camera down towards the side more. Get down there in it to make the viewer feel like they are on the edge of the plate and can smell your meal and reach out there and touch it. Too high of an angle just looks like a plate of food. You want the light on it but at the lower angle it highlights spots vs everything shining at you.

You can make anything look good dude. Try to plate it close together and take it like those. I'll post a pic of a grilled cheese in a bit and show you. lol

 

Always wanted one of the Ruger .22 pistols like that. I really loved the all stainless long heavy barrel one.

 

Good luck taking it apart the first time. They are a pain until you learn the technique. I hear the new models are easier to disassemble.

She’s punched me harder than some grown men but stood faithfully by my side and supported me for 15 years next month and our first 10 together I was gone 6.

ok the 10/45 MKIV is ridiculously easy to disassembly. Took me about 5 seconds.

I was wrong it wasnt a pc of plastic just a red dot to show safety is off. looked the same color as a pc of plastic that was in the barrel that needed to be removed.

 

Saw mine knock the shit out of a bitch one time. Looked like a short girl going trunk monkey on a MF’er.
