    Hopefully an easy answer...

I have a 2015 TRD sport 4x4... Recently put 285/75 BFG KO2 tires on stock wheels... Obviously an oversize tire as I wanted the extra height and width. The problem I have is the tires rub when steering is locked out.
I was thinking of getting 17" TRD Pro wheels thinking the offset of these wheels will prevent the rub on the control arm....

Any thoughts if this will work?

More negative offset might help to avoid rubbing on the UCA but will probably rub on the cab mount.

Looking at the specs of your current wheels compared to the trd pro wheels, the trd pros have about 26mm less off set and are .5 in more narrow. It may help a little with the UCA rubbing. It may also create more tire bulge b/c it's a more narrow wheel and counter the offset and you still may rub. The FN FX pro wheels come in 17x8 with 0 offset an are styled like the trd pro wheels. Just food for thought.

What tire size do you recommend without rubbing? Looking to get this set up but with Cooper tires. I have 2 inch lift. Toytec
    Thanks.

265 70 17 is what I have and the don't rub at all. I don't have experience with trying to fit a larger tire yet. My large tire experiences are with older toyotas where tire fitment was less of an issue.

    Sorry , I meant 16X8 not 17 0 offset.
I am just wondering what tire size that looks aggressive that won't rub.
I just bought my tacoma a month ago.
    Thanks,
    Chris

Not sure if they come in a 16. I want to say they do now and it's more of a recent thing but not sure.

    They do make a 16.
Go to this tread and look around.
this guy has the 16 in wheel but he's running 315's.
