Hey that's already happened to me! I've only had my Yota for two weeks, and I went to my grandmother's apartment to move some stuff for her. So, an old guy with an 86 Toyota Hilux, two wheel drive, 5 speed, 306K, visiting the landlord comes up to me as I'm leaving and says "hey, I've been lookin for a truck, how much would make that mine?" . . . Not even two weeks of owning it. Crazy.

... when you can climb super steep hills 'showroom stock', with the A-TRAC, where others have to use an extra cost/ after-market front locker! ;)

... when you never break down on the trail, no matter how hard you drive the truck!

... when you know that you will always drive a Toyota after trying the rest, because they are just that good!

LOL, so many of these I just sat shaking my head laughing. But the third one really hits home. When the factory bought my '99, so many people (who don't like Toyotas) kept telling me to look at other brands. I went to a few other dealers basically going through the motions and my wife turns to me and says "you know you're just going to get another Tacoma, lets quit wasting time." She couldn't have been more right. The next morning, we went and bought my '10.

    x2 On both of these.

For the first one, lol. Third world militias wouldnt be using Toyota Pickups if they were not reliable.

As for the second one, when i first started to learn how to drive it was in a 2003 Dodge RAM 5.7L V8 Hemi. Damn that thing sounded niceee stock i just wish toyota made their trucks louder stock like dodge did, but the coolant and motor oil started to mix. So we traded it in for the Tacoma. I am so glad we got a toyota other wise i might have become a die hard dodge fan

Plus time and time again im really proud of this "mid-sized" truck. Being 16 and having JUST got my driver's license at the time, i wanted to see how fast 0-60 was, i sure as hell was impressed. 7~ seconds isnt bad for a truck. In fast and the furious he "owed him a 6 second car"...We're only one second off :D

-When you spend $30k on a truck and have to reach under your seat and pull up a bar to move it forward.

-When you can turn your stereo all the way up and have a normal conversation with passengers.

-When some one asks you if a really fat person owned the truck before you. Thanks taco lean.
