    Exactly! Maybe tomorrow though :bananadead::rofl:

This is the only barrel strength I've tried of theirs. But with prices going crazy I jumped on a bulk deal when the right opportunity came up. I like it a lot.

This is my 10th attempt at barrel finishing and each time is different. My favorites so far have been a Port finished Maker's CS, Sherry finished Whitmeyer's single barrel, and Madeira finished Lagavulin 8 year old.

I might have to get a mini barrel to help thin the open bottle herd someday.

Do it! It's fun to play around with this stuff and it always keeps the decanters full.

my whiskey tastes like shit tonight. my taste buds are just off and I haven't been feeling good. Allergies getting to me. Which makes me want to drink but no reason to drink the more expensive stuff.

Another one bites the dust... Enjoyed this one but unlikely to buy again with all the other choices out there.

I was thinking of picking this up. It’s 17 bucks down the street from my house, is it worth that to try?

Do you take meds for allergies? I take Zyrtec and rather than pay $1 a pill I buy the generic Kirkland brand at Costco that's a 365 pill bottle for $14 vs $365 for the same amount of the brand name stuff!

That right there pays for the cost of my membership for a few years haha

I do a nasal flush a couple times a day, Claritin, and then blast my nose with Flonase. Still miserable. And I hate everything and everyone for about 3 months. Not fun to be around.

That's why I always have Jack and coke on the ready. Old faithful. Been mixing in a lot of WSR and coke though too. Ever do any mixed?

it's been a while actually. I've made some old fashioned's more recently. When I mix I usually do vodka. It's been a long lockdown and I over drank for a while and trying to tone it down lately.

Water is always an excellent choice too :D

Quarantine has lead to more baking here too with the booze

I feel your pain. There are days that I swear are worse when I take meds.

Been through Claritin, Zyrtec, Allegra, and some other big name one that I can't remember. Spring this year I was taking Zyxal and that seemed to work for a few months but now nothing OTC seems to work anymore. Nothing except booze.

If I don't take at least half a benadryl before bed I wake up with a head full of concrete.

I'm going to a new allergist next week. The last one did the prick tests and it only came up with dust mites. But that doesn't make sense because there are always dust mites in your house but my allergies are only seasonal. I am vexed. I'm terribly put out.

My youngest has struggled with allergies his whole life. Zyrtec and Flonase with only little effect...still would get "flares" where his eyes would swell up, etc. Then he went on montelukast aka Singulair (along with the Zyrtec and Flonase). It worked, but there can be negative side effects with montelukast. We took him to an allergist who recommended Xyzal. It's not gone generic yet so it's a bit more expensive but our insurance helps some. (<---wrong, but still more expensive than generic Zyrtec) Basically, Xyzal (levocetirizine) is the levorotatory form of Zyrtec (cetirizine). It is a stronger antihistamine than Zyrtec with fewer side effects so can be given in a smaller dose for the same effect.

Anyway, since we started the Xyzal (along with Flonase still), he's been much improved. Maybe it's worth a shot for you??

Oh yeah, and tonight it's the hometown hero Woodford Double Oaked for me. More than one I might add...hence the medicine rant. :)
