Northern Virginia Roll Call

It's really convenient now that it's online. I spent about 8 hours on hamstudy.org going through the 10 sections and went 35/35 on my exam in about 5 minutes. They are using zoom unfortunately but still better than going somewhere in person.

 

wait, its online? On zoom? I dont mind going out (and have been this whole time - to the only place that has been open Home Depot)

 

I must dumber that I realize. I need to really hit that website and get the questions down.

 

Yeah you do a zoom session while sharing your desktop and they watch you via webcam. Best part is my license was in the system less than 24 hours later. There's like 9 groups or so hosting tests now but I highly recommend the guys up at MIT when you're looking through available sessions. Super chill dudes and a couple of them reached out after to congratulate me once I appeared in the db.

I was straight bombing practice tests until I started going through one section at a time in study mode. Keeping material related instead of letting it mix in all 10 sections made it much easier to recall material. It's been a long time since my electronics classes.

The tool collection is growing! Going to add side hoops to my rear bumper wings this weekend, build a new front bumper next week. Eventually would love a roll cage.
