I've been looking at their stuff recently. I'm pretty sure I don't care much about getting new stripes. Maybe I'll feel different if I buff em all out but for now, I may just leave it nice and blank down the sides of the truck limo lol

I'm gonna miss it as well. I'm planning on installing the gmrs unit and antenna, relocate ham antenna, install dashcam with rear cam, run a new power wire from the battery to the bed for the fridge, and give that bed power a new ground this weekend.

Dude, you and me both. I'm gonna try to fix the ground first before I run that new run from the battery back to the bed in hopes that fixes the voltage drop issues I been seeing in the bed power stuff I put in. I hope to not run it but unplanned for the worse, so ready to run it if needed lol

 

Smart, I bought the arb fridge harness and ran it to the bed was so much easier but pricey for wire.

 

Word! I didn't know they made a harness. I've got 10 gauge wire, some loom, and 6 rolls of electric tape to make mine happen.

It’s 10 gauge in a nice hardened type of loom like old phone cable with the battery connectors on it for 40$ worth it to me just had to wire my outlets.

That is a nice one!! I'll have to add a fuze to the one I'll make. Already had the wire, fittings, and fuze but needed the loom. Was quite cheap for loom. My plan was to wrap it in electric tape to make it more like that lol

06/20/20 - Lots of stuff knocked out today including 3 items from the list!

It was a hot day but that didn't stop me from knocking out a bunch of projects on the list including

• Made a mount for solar charge controller
• Mounted the Victron Energy Solar charge controller
• Rewired the bed power stuff fixing a power loss issue
• Deleted remaining CB stuff from bed and put antenna wire in bumper. I plan to use it to pull another wire back to the bed in the future
• Installed the Shitco awning blocks

Also got a chance to really check out the @gfc_usa second generation tent material and it's really great. I can already feel the difference in heat from the original pvc stuff. Also, the side door is going to be very handy! I don't think we will get the ladder since climbing down isn't bad using the rear tubes on the bumper. Going to need a light and switch right there to make sure I don't fall on my ass in the dark

Man, what a lovely fathers day! I slept in a little and then enjoyed the cooler temps on the balcony while having coffee. I went mountain biking today and dedicated the ride to my dad who passed 17 years ago and set a personal record... KOM on a segment in Strava I then had a crazy good brunch followed by watching my favorite English football team. They drew, unfortunately, but it wasnt a loss, so its all good.

I worked on the truck next and was able to accomplish another few items off the list as well as get another few tee'd up for tomorrow. Ill update in the morning with a load of pics.
