    Thanks for asking pretty much the exact question that I was coming here to ask! Saw a guy in the grocery store parking lot the other day with285/75's on his Tacoma but didn't wait around to ask him how it worked for him.

    I'm planning to lift my new Tacoma and was hoping to squeeze some 285/75's on there too, but not if it is going to damage the truck. I actually plan on wheeling it a decent amount off road since I live down the street from some fun stuff, so my main goal is to make it trail worthy and not just a show pony for the highway. However, I don't have a big budget right now, so I'm trying real hard not to go too far down this rabbit hole.

    Discount Tire will show oversize tires that fit stock suspension. Plug in your vehicle parameters and hit the oversize link. At least for my Taco the sizes jibe with what I have seen posted here.
