It's an ATV trail. Quite a drive for you, it takes about 55 minutes for us to get to Bucks Pocket from our house.

My buddy that is an ex-Dekalb County sheriff told me it was for ATVs only. That site also lists that vehicles wider than 63" is not permitted on the trails. Tacoma measures 63" from inside bed rail to the other bed rail, so we are too fat! lol

It's also only 6 miles long. You could ride that in 20 minutes!

Please note: Full size vehicles such as Jeeps, trucks, or rock crawlers are NOT allowed on the trail

Nice! Good to see other canoe folks, seems like everyone is in either a kayak or a powered boat. Nothing wrong with either, I've enjoyed both, but canoes are my thing.

You didn't catch the RONA down in Florida to go with all those fish. The local news is saying there are a lot of new cases around the beaches.

St Georgia Island is not anything like Destin, PC and such. There is only 1 cheap hotel at the center of the island. The closest people to us were probably 40-50 yards away. We carried all our food needs from here.

My kids liked canoeing until their first time in a kayak. Also a canoe is more difficult on the Flint River by our house.

Lots of new cases because the testing ability has boomed to 1000x what it was last month. Can walk into just about any clinic and get tested now with 36hr or less turn around.

Good to know. My wife is telling the family that we are going to quarantine ourselves when we get back home just to be safe for others.

That's a little far for a day ride for us! I gotta do some maintenance on my truck this weekend before the beach trip next week. I also have to mow our grass and in-law's grass and pick up stuff that we'll need for the beach. The weekend after the beach trip, we'll be ready to ride again!

Thanks man, I haven't forgotten. Hopefully after I'm back home for a couple of weeks then we can go do some trail riding again. I'd love to check out some of those trails in TN i keep hearing about for just a fun (easy) weekend.
