If I had a "hog" I'd have to put a pig snout and tail on it.
I'm a bit of a kidder in life.

yay, i like it and use it, sometimes it is annoying but i opt for it

some would say the cbr600rr is known for excessive engine braking, does it from the factory but with a tune you can adjust / remove

    Yayy.
It's efficient and free (saves brake pads too). Also, if slowing greatly and done properly, you are downshifting, which puts you in the correct gear should you need to get out of a situation.

car or bike - engine braking isn't a yay/nay Q - its how to properly ride, and stay in the correct gear for the speed you're going.

I downshift through the gears most of the time, sometimes I'm lazy and don't when I'm approaching a red light.

Had the ECU flashed on my Bolt and excessive engine braking is one of the things that was removed. I noticed the difference immediately the first time I rode it and will say the bike feels a lot smoother now but fuel mapping/ignition timing were also adjusted.

Ivan's Performance - mailed it to him and had it back in a few days. I'm sure a custom tune would be better but I will say the bike runs excellent after his updates.

Almost always engine brake. I really only ever grab brake to come to a complete stop or if I’m coming in to a sharp turn a little too hot

upshifting through the gears and then clutch in to a stop is like...how a girl rides the first month she ever rode a bike.
you down shift and engine brake always. and no you cant "turn it off on your cbr" if you are in the correct gear when slowing down, it will engine brake.

if you truly don't understand, then I'm certain you're a very skilled rider...I have the upmost confidence you're very Rossi-like.

right...because thats how you're supposed to ride.

No problem, I recommend it! I spoke with Ivan and he seems very knowledgeable and has been tuning bikes for a long time. I have a Cobra intake and slip-on exhaust, he asks what you're specifically running as I think he has a few different maps.

I rolled the bike out of the garage to do some work. Does that count?
