I second this. also, with the long bed, you lose some payload capacity while gaining space. So it's easier to overload a long bed. You do have to get a little creative with the short bed every so often. but a hitch rack has been my solution. :D

easy fix there is an Add-a-leaf! That way you get the payload, the space, and a bit of lift all at the same time!

true. But I was talking more stock ratings from the manufacturer. :) I need to start thinking about changing up my suspension now. got way too many miles on my stock setup.

Yes. For me though, I remove both wheels and drop the saddle to make more room in the bed since I like to keep a few bins for gear under the tonneau cover as well.

Heck, my Evil Insurgent fit in the trunk of my WRX!

I travel quite a bit so when I ride before a flight, I stash my bike in the bed (under a tonneau) instead of leaving it on the rack for airport parking.

AAL in the Rear, with 5100s all around is the cheapest, quality way to get a lift and small upgrade from stock suspension.

yeah, that's what I've hear a lot about. My roommate's tundra got the 6112/5160 treatment. Just doing some budgeting and debating on what I really want. likely will do 5100s.

its what I did to my truck, along with new wheels and tires, and the difference was awesome, especially for the price. I'll eventually want to upgrade to 6112/5160, or something similar, and go up to 285s. But for now, i'm happy with it!

We could pop in a pair of front 5100s in an afternoon. Come on over!

Side note....new bike part day...next week. I ordered a new rockshox superdeluxe ultimate from my LBS. My current bike doesn't have a lockout and it's killing me on the climbs. I'm excited to have a firm setting along with some more adjustability on my rear shock. :D

Waiting for the tracking number like :playball:

The ship date they gave my LBS was today, but that was back in March.
