When your daughter is born you should make sure to give her an identifying tattoo before she leaves your sight. Hospitals have been known to switch babies.

You could have her name tattooed on her lower back or maybe something on her neck that says "Property of allrsdup"

IMHO, If this tattoo is to represent your daughter, "girlie" is not only acceptable, but expected. I must say, the foot print idea is very cool. Whenever I can afford it, I plan to get my daughter's name with flowering vines trailing off of it.

girlie is fine, i wouldn't mind flowers or something to represent my sister or my mom, but a tiara is really REALLY girlie

allrsdup, some really neat ideas...While not particularily helpful,I just wanted to show you what I'm working on.I posted this in the tat/truck thread as well..

This started out as my initials until one day I realized that there were four people in this world more important to me than me.I had my wife and three childrens names added around mine representing me being surrounded by my family (which is when I'm most happy). The next session is having the background filled in with flames and smoke completing a quarter sleeve.

Congrats on the incoming little princess.:)

exactly my thoughts. when my son was born i felt the same way. plus as soon as they are born in my hosp they get a braclet put on with numbers that only match ours.

congrats on your daughter as well! i cant wait it should be soon for me too her due date is the 30th but she is no way making it that long i give it 2 weeks tops.
