Hey guys, my cross country trip just received the final green light, so I'll be in the following towns for riding+camping on the following dates. It would be cool as hell if some of you want to meet up for a ride/beer/camping/whatever. I also plan to hit up at least one (1) local brewery in each town after completing each ride (suggestions welcome!).

(Note: The selected trails can easily be changed if you think there are much better options for XC-style rides in these locations).

Please shoot me a PM if any of this interests you.

Durango Doughworks in Durango is the cat's meow. Ska Brewing doesn't disappoint either.

Looks like a great trip. HWY 550 can be dangerous. If you run into issues in NM, I am based in Albuquerque.

Do many of you use climb/lock modes? I rarely reach down for that unless I have a long ass road climb. Even then I really don't find it necessary. I guess if it's a really active rear end with light compression tuning and limited anti-squat designed in.

I could be interested, haven't ridden levitate or vertigo yet this year. Let me figure out what the family plan is, but since it's father's day I get to do what I want! Right....?

Anyone have a dpx2 they don’t want? Everything I’ve read said that will massively improve my 5010.

Last Saturday I bought a speedometer for my road bike as my phone turns off after 10 minutes and I have no feedback for how fast I'm going. Of course, the last 5 days straight have seen winds of 25-40 mph so when I saw they were finally going to die down this afternoon, I skipped out of work early to compare the speedo with Strava.

    That didn't go very well.

    Screenshot_20200619-153334_Strava.jpg

No idea what glitched so bad but it says I averaged 38.9 mph for just under an hour.

The speedo had a more believable 24.1 miles in about an hour and a half.

Definitely reach out when you're in the Tucson area! There's a pretty big fire threatening Mt Lemmon and all the best trails right now, but either way there's some fun stuff to hit. And worst case if mother nature doesn't come through the breweries around here don't disappoint

So I am going to buy a new trail helmet that will allow me to use my new goggles. Mostly because enduro but also because my sunglasses just don't provide the coverage from underneath. I already bought the goggles from where I went to the park so I'm just gonna stick to them instead of buying actual cycling glasses. I have been looking at the Fox Speedframe Pro or just speed frame, Vs the Giro Chronicle. I currently have a Giro fixture and its just not doing it for me. The fox has a much better Helmet Rating from the VA tech testing Any thoughts or opinions? Thanks.

X-tiger sunglasses are $25 on Amazon and are surprisingly good. This thread just made a massive run on them 3 weeks ago or so.

I'll drop an extra apres brewski in the fridge for you as a sign of optimism.
