What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The black 4x4 badge only comes standard on the TRD Pro

 

I apologize - I was coffee deficient for my original post. What I meant to say is that it is an OEM Toyota part that can be purchased and applied to any truck.

 

I’ve heard that the adhesive on these badges actually will not stick to the body of inappropriate trims.

 

Anyone notice that runnin4tacos removed any Tacoma/TRD referenced products from their website? No more Tacoma overlays, pro grille, or TRD badges offered in the 3rd gen Tacoma section

 

It's my understanding that the Off Road and Sport models are the only ones without the 4X4 emblem on the tailgate because they have the large 4X4 sticker on the bedside. I just looked up SR, SR5, PRO and Limited 2020 models, and they all had the 4X4 emblem. I personally removed the bedside Off Road sticker and added the

$33 Toyota 75473-0C030 Plate, RR Body Name, Regular

4X4 emblem on the tailgate with the OEM blackout emblem covers.

 

Weird. I just bought my pro grille from them.

 

AJT re-designed his battery bracket to eliminate the TRD logo. I think MESO had some experience with this, also.

 

Trademark Violations? I was wondering how everyone was using the logos

Didn't see anyone else mention this. On the Tacoma when you stop a lot of water sometimes rolls off the roof and into the window. Way more than I have seen on any of the dozens of vehicles I have had in the past. These help with that. Only had mine on for a couple weeks but I love them.

If you mean why doesn't his truck have fender flares, the SR models don't come with them
