Yay on engine braking, I do it with both the Ninja and the Mustang.
It just seems like the most efficient way to maintain control and be in the appropriate gear for vehicle speed.
It was already mentioned, but it extends the life of brakes as well.

Absolutely yay. Anyone that says otherwise shouldn’t be near a motorcycle.

Start with the basics and watch Twist of the Wrist. You’ll get a better understanding of why engine braking is important. It’s on YouTube

Could also coast to a stop. Brakes cost less than an engine.

I also rev match and engine brake on my Sporty :anonymous: old habits die hard

This guy thinks he knows more than every professional rider on the planet. Let me just grip the shit out of my clutch and coast into those turns so I can save my engine from doing what it’s designed to do. Jesus this is why I stopped coming on forums so much.

there just seems to be a misunderstanding of ecu technology... and what changing parameters on a map can achieve...

there also seems to be this idea that someone said engine braking can simply be turned off...

understandably our planet is under great stress...

A- I learned to ride on a moto-compo. So much fun for a 9 year old, blasting around the neighborhood.
B- My cousin had a YSR in jr high, even more fun!
