Does anyone know of or have recommendations for a place that would be able to remount used tires onto different rims? I know some places are picky when dealing with non-new tires

 

Really? Im sure right now, anyone would be happy for the business. Used tire shops probably would have no issue with it

 

Anyone I've gone wheeling with missing a Pelfreybuilt patch? It definitely isn't mine, but it was stuck to my clothes.

Speaking of coming back, I'll be in VA the first full week of August to mud wrestle some metallic pigs. Whether I fly or drive depends on what's going on at work. If I drive, it will likely be my car because my poor truck sits forgotten and alone in my shop waiting for me to get off my ass.

Yup. Same reason big chain stores won’t install anything other than OEM sizes. Fear of liability.

 

Ron’s Used Tires has mounted two used BFG MTs as spares for me (the location in Warrenton anyway).

 

How much fun is it to just design stuff on bend tech!? Did you get a tubing notcher too? I recommend swags / harbor freight angle finder. What size dyes did you get?

 

Tube notcher is to come. I’m going to try and do it by hand with the templates bend tech producers but we‘ll see. I already have a digital angle finder from HF. It’s handy.

Anyone know a good decently priced shop I can get my truck some paint correction and ceramic coat? Seems like most shops I look into want a lot more than I see a lot of toher pay. Maybe its just the area?
