A day late and a dollar short, but I’m finally joining the quick change pulley gang.

Yeah that makes sense, I forgot about that. This (regear) will be my next mod, can’t wait. I could’ve bought it all now but I couldn’t resist the Dirt Kings LCA group buy.......and those ain’t cheap.

Going from 3.73 to 4.10 should be good enough. A little more power without making the truck sound like a clapped out Honda Civic on the freeway.

@JuanitoBunito I know you went 285 with the Kendas. Did you consider 33 x 10.5? They're about the same height, but about 0.7" skinnier.

    Time to upgrade buddy.

Get the Roush and the LFP double bearing 50mm pulley. It's worth the money and the small amount of retrofit time it takes to make it work.

@TRON How have those CVJs been treating you lately? I noticed my inner boots are starting to wear on my OEM CVs from the fins touching. Gonna have to address it sooner rather than later

i would leave it alone. it may be set up correctly for how it is. the mpg change or reliability wont be a noteable difference.

I hear that. I just threw a 2.6 on mine today. Was running the 2.3 but now that i'm dailying this thing again, I don't want any issues. Do you know of any good machine shops/engine rebuild shops in your area? I have a head gasket bad on my 4 cyl and i'd like to try to do most of the work myself but i'm starting to chicken out lol. I've never worked on internals before and I am picturing it turning into a nightmare

@JuanitoBunito i know your conservative style of modding. i think 4:10's would be golden for you. i have them. love em.

That was H Squared. They built my last two engines, and did head work on a few heads that I took to them.
