    Lol it wasn’t me tho so I don’t got to foot the bill. Will post once I get it apart also just called shit zone and o dummy’s they only have 125 amp dealer only ? Napa is closed

    I'm not gonna say it's alright to put a higher amp fuse in, but in my opinion, once you get to the 120A point, 5 amps isn't gonna make any difference. Would I put the 125A fuse in or wait til Monday to get a 120A fuse from the dealer? Hard to say. Would depend on how badly I needed my truck.

    He don’t need it he’s got a brand new 4x4 Toyota Tacoma I just want to make sure that’s what it is and see what else he fried

    That could work. Tell him you'll give him $500 with the expectation that it may cost a small fortune to replace any fried electronics.

    To give you an idea, electronics can fry from reverse polarity in milliseconds. In comparison, the amount of time it takes for a fuse to blow, is forever.

    However, there have been many people that have gotten lucky and only had to replace fuses.

    Mud I fried my alt fuse in my Cummins my helper disconnected one battery replaced alternator same shit didn’t tell me left me on the side of 35 with my skidder on a trailer got lucky was just the fuse. It bolted on as well but was easy was in fuse box under hood rite on top

    Fuses save wiring from becoming a fire. They don't save electronics from frying. Same with breakers.

    Like I said, it’s on him but it’s my job as a damn hell raising heathen to fix it. Just happy the ol man still alive, he once told me if you ain’t fuckin up you ain’t doin nothin . Texas baby
