What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

My sliders finally came in finished and had them installed at Caliraised Off-road since i don’t have the bed space and my girlfriend isn’t able to get them off the roof with me. Luckily they were able to get them on in under an hour! Amazing staff and service. If your in SoCal and want some sliders I don’t know why you’d go any other route.

 

Ahh yeah that makes sense, I honestly didn’t even think of coating the barrels even tho that should be a no brainer lol. That sounds good, I’ll definitely have to give it a go and I appreciate the information!

 

Received 1 of 2 packages for my new Frontrunner Slimline II roof rack. I was really hoping to get it installed this weekend but it will have to wait until Monday.

Working on it. That chromed ring around the shift boot (MT) has been the worst offender so far as reflected glare goes. Do you require some assistance?

FINALLY installed the ECGS bushing and JBA UCAs. It was a busy day in the garage.

 

Those little rear license plate light sockets are a real PITA! Hope I don't have to get back in there for a really long time, if ever.

 

@20tacoma17 i was looking hard to see if it was the full size or mini. The Rocks were messing with my head!

 

Probably due to the flat as a pancake gasket supplied. The supplied stuff is junk imo. I immediately bought bulb type gaskets and my cap actual sits up on the rails rather than hugging the rail, keeping clear of all paint.

 

Does the drl plug not get used when doing retro lights with demons? I don’t see anywhere it would connect. Also the wires that it would normally plug into are cut out. I’m guess not used but want to make sure.

Edit: the amount of wires and plugs etc is insane! Haha I do t see any other option but to have a giants rats nest

 

I installed Scheel Mann Vario F seats in ours. They're awesome for long drives for people with less than perfect backs.
