Hopefully when I hit 100k and am out of warranty the twin turbo kit is more available and maybe a list of installers because i would 100% be on board for that.

    Just wanted to verify:

    04B31_Reg_Stock.p5f
    04B31_Reg_Stock_Thx.p5f

Is the first one just the factory tune and the Thx for the 2.0?

Nope... both are 2.0 tunes. First is lower octane stock tires. Second is lower octane, stock tires, enhanced throttle response (not tip-in).

<edit> I should clarify, they are both octane learning, but are targeted for a lower octane. It wouldn’t hurt to run higher octane but you miss out on some of the benefit.

So every file in the pack is 2.0?

That’s my understanding. I don’t think they’ve released a tune pack yet that has 1.03, 1.05, 1.051, etc yet. I believe that type of pack will only come with a specific request and email.

I guess I'm still trying to catch up on everything. Are the credits only for when wanting to edit tune files?

Correct. It unlocks an ecu ID. You can purchase additional credits if necessary for other trucks

5 credits with the purchase. 1 credit stays in your bank for access to licensing I think. 4 credits per ECU you want to unlock. Once you specify and unlock an ECU (ID, not individual truck), you can tune as many of those ECU’s as you want. 4 more credits if you want to unlock another ECU.

Correct. They are all 2.0 files. You can get the stock file in flash manager.

Sent Zendesk an email and I thought it would be helpful to share for the group. If you have a 3rd gen AT ECU there is no current vftune file to adjust the tunes OV created. I asked a specific question as what I want to do to is take 1.05 or 2.0 and add the alternator adjustment. 2.0 without alt adjustment is still awesome though!

Do you know when the 2.0 final AT tunes will be released?

I received the Tactrix Openport 2.0 today. Do I use this to check my ECU number?

    Yes.

If you are an MT, you can also use it to update your ECU to 04A71, if you are not.

Thanks @tonered! My truck is AT. Few more question:

Do I need VF Tuner to check the ECU version?

What is the the most recent AT ECU version?

If mine is not the most recent, how do I update it?

Sorry! I don't have any notes on the 2018 ATs.

vF or the Flash Manager. With the Tactrix, they can read your ECU once you get the REG file.

With TS in my signature, the Tactrix, and the TSB software file, you can flash you ECU, just like with OVT.

The 2.0 AT tunes without gear lock were released earlier this week. VF files for them are coming next week I believe.

Side question.... Why do the ECU's change on the MT so much? Is there a way to tell by year? I haven't seen many 04B90 posts.

Are these the 2.0 finals everyone keeps referring to?

Also, what does it mean that they were “released” if the VF files are not available for you to flash your ECU? What was released then?

Sorry for such elementary questions but I have zero experience with this
